Floor It Right

Floor It Right (Based on the Calm Walk design brief) is a 2D puzzle game where you play as a flooring installer. Each level is a room with a row of floor tiles. You inspect each tile, prepare the subfloor, choose the right underlay and flooring, and install it. When you think the job is done, you click the door to "move in". The game skips to 6 months later and shows which tiles failed and why (lifting, gaps, squeaking, buckling or hollow sound). Mistakes are not shown straight away, so the player learns cause and effect.
